Sample Duties

Candidates must have a working knowledge of community homes and residential service regulations. Manages and oversees the day-to-day operations of support services for individuals with developmental disabilities. A person in this position will schedule and invite appropriate persons to annual meetings for the development of IPP and the Quarterly Reviews, supervises residential programs, secures staff coverage, trains and meets with staff, assures all staff follow proper medication procedures, responsible for completion of pre-assessments and assessments upon admission and annually thereafter, assures the accuracy and completion of documents are in compliance with State Regulations, company standards and the policy and procedures manual and perform related work as required.

Education/Experience

Must have at minimum an Associates Degree with a minimum of 4 years experience or a Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 2 years experience or a Masters Degree with 1 year experience. Experience is considered working directly with people with mental retardation.

Special Requirement

Supervisory experience and knowledge of behavior management, program planning, and normalization principles and practices for mentally disabled. Must have a valid PA driver’s license and a good driving record.

Work Schedule

Hours may vary and include on call. Candidate needs to be flexible.

Rate/Salary

$13.00/hour
