Developmental Support Services offers a full continuum of residential options for individuals which enable opportunities for all to optimize independence while providing for the appropriate level of oversight and assistance.
- Our three intermediate care facilities for intellectually disabled persons are designed to serve individuals with complex physical health and/or mental health issues coupled with mental retardation.
- Traditional group home settings are available with in-home staff to assist residents with daily living tasks.
- Family Living/Life Sharing, a foster family arrangement, is ideal for many individuals.
- Supported Living is a program which enables persons to reside independently with ongoing assistance. The array of residential alternatives is vital to serving persons in the most appropriate setting and supplying the desired level of supports. This network also offers movement as a person's needs change, perhaps as a result of mastering additional living skills or due to a temporary health situation.
Residential placements also consider individuals interests and facilitating an ongoing relationship with family members.
